Just before you enter the Port of Port Orford, you will find an overnight parking area for campers, RV's and travel trailers. This area is owned and maintained by the Port of Port Orford and requires a modest fee.
Located 10-15 minutes South of Port Orford, Humbug State Park has ocean access and an abundance of hiking trails.
Travel 3 miles North of Port Orford to Cape Blanco Road, then another 5 miles.
Cape Blanco State Park is home to the historic Hughes House & Cape Blanco Lighthouse. Cape Blanco also has a Campground, Horse Camp and beach access.
About 10 minutes North of Port Orford along Hwy 101.
Along the Elk River you will find several remote camping areas that are not regularly maintained. Along the Sixes river, you will find 2 BLM maintained campgrounds. These areas are out of the way and out of cell range.
