Important things to know before you go

What to bring.

  • We fish rain or shine. It's not entirely uncommon to experience multiple weather conditions on a single outing.

  • Dress in layers if its cold or rainy & ALWAYS bring warm clothes if the sun is shining!

  • Please wear quality shoes or boots with a non slip type sole.

  • Bring your valid Oregon fishing license!

  • Bring your own food and drink!

  • We do provide life jackets which meet or exceed USCG requirements. We do however suggest you bring your own if you have one. Ours are bulky and uncomfortable for extended use.

Sea sickness is real!

If you are prone to motion sickness or are unsure, make sure to take necessary precautions.

Many medications are available both over the counter and by prescription and many DIY remedies can be found online which are all at your own discretion and risk.

We advise being well hydrated and eating a small breakfast that is rich in protein. We also recommend using sea sickness medication as necessary and as directed by a medical professional.

Remember, one sick person can end the trip for everyone so please take every precaution.

Bathroom

Like most other relatively small boats, our boat does not have a bathroom. Please plan your bathroom schedule accordingly.

In the event of a bathroom emergency, we do have a small portable toilet for use with very limited privacy.
